Introduction
to Swami Chakradhari

(Swami
Ji with his wife at his Temple in Haryana, India).
Swami
Chakradhari was born in a small village approximately 60 miles from
Delhi, India. Swami Ji is a direct descendant of spiritual gurus and
sages who, ages ago, wrote scriptures that helped comprise parts of
Vedas.
In his childhood, Swami Ji began to amaze people by his powers and
abilities to reveal their present concerns and his accurate predictions
of the future. As he entered adulthood, he fully realized his mystical
and spiritual powers. During this time, he also mastered Ridhis and
Sidhis, as well as all aspects of Astrology, including Palmistry and
Numerology.
Since
then, Swami Ji has been traveling the world to help people. In his
travels, he often meets people suffering at or below the poverty levels
and he is always moved by their situation in life. He realizes that
it's not God who has denied them the wealth and food, but it's the
other people who have created complex economical structures and laws
to protect their own interests and hoard the wealth that is meant
for all of us. This greed of some has denied the simple purchasing
power of many to buy absolute necessities of life.
Swami
Ji is determined to help in solving the problems of global hunger
and poverty. He has realizes that with the abundance of resources
and technologies available nowadays, if we were to unite and act together,
we can easily solve these basic problems of humanity. Upon giving
some thought to this matter, Swami
Ji realized that there are two main types of hunger in the world,
physical and spiritual.
The
physical hunger
Physical
hunger causes death of more than 40,000 children per day in the world. This number does not
include the number of adults that die from hunger each day. A top
American economist with the World Bank recently reported: "The
world has ample food, enough to feed every human being on the planet.
Global food production has grown at an even faster rate than the unprecedented
population growth of the past 40 years. Yet many poor countries -
and hundreds of millions of poor people - do not share in this abundance.
They suffer from a lack of `food security' mainly caused by a lack
of purchasing power."
Here is the real root of the problem: the problem is not just the hunger,
but the poverty as well. Due to poverty, In India
alone, more women die in one month than in America,
Europe, Japan and Australia, combined, in an entire year. Hunger is only one of poverty's many faces, Illiteracy is another.
If we seriously wish to eradicate hunger, we must work towards solving
the problems of poverty... The global economy and technology has improved
over the past few decades yet today there are more starving and poor
people in the world than ever before.
The
spiritual hunger
Nutritional
fruits and vegetables are the food of the body and meditation is the
food of Spirituality. Meditation provides clear thinking and
stabilization of thought for the mind and allows better communication
with the soul. Swami Ji has observed that just as the people in third world countries are suffering from the physical
hunger, the people in
the modern technological advanced countries are also suffering from the spiritual hunger.
Just
as the lack
of nutritional fruits and vegetables causes suffering of the body
and, if not corrected, leads to death, the lack of stabilization of
thoughts, which is attained through meditation, causes suffering of
our spirit by creating confusion, poor willpower and suffering
of the mind which leads to physical problems and health issues that
are common in modern world today.
To satisfy both Physical and Spiritual hunger, Swami Ji is dedicated
to building Ashrams around the world. He has a Temple
of Vedic Cultural Society of B.C. in
Vancouver, Canada and a Shri Shri 1008 Mata Satya Devi Mandir
(a Temple in his mother's name) in Haryana, India.
Currently, Swami Ji is in the process of setting up an Ashram
in Chaguanas, Trinidad,
an Ashram in Neutenzul,
Guyana,
and an Ashram in Sydney, Australia. The main purpose
of these Ashrams will be to provide Guidance in Meditation, Clear
Thinking, Inner Peace, and Happiness to the general public and all
the profits generated from these Ashrams will be used for various
projects to alleviate hunger and poverty worldwide.
